I’m not exactly your sweatshirt and sweatpants kind of girl. I love getting all dolled up and wearing something fashion forward. However, on the days I’m feeling lazy and want to be comfy, I still want to look cute – just feel like I’m wearing absolutely nothing comfy clothes. It’s kind of like my work ethic back when I was still in school. I want to do basically no work, while still managing to get the credit for the finished product.
Which brings me to sharing this adorable ruffle sweatshirt! This Lumie sweatshirt is without a doubt a must have (also comes in black). It’s soft material and oversized fit makes it so comfy, yet totally cool and chic!
For this look I paired it with a black circle skirt. By the way ladies, don’t underestimate the comfort level of a skirt. It’s commonly misunderstood that a skirt can’t be comfy. Well, it certainly can – sometimes even more so than a pair of jeans. I mean think about it … it’s like your legs (and you know what else) are totally free! – Nothing too tight and suctioned to your body. It’s like being as free as a bird … Say I’m a bird! Say it! – okay, enough of Rachel McAdams. Let’s get back to this look.
As for shoes, I went with one of my favorite pair of flats – the Valentino Rockstud Cage flats. Again, looking stylish, yet comfy. These shoes are stunning in person, so if you’re looking to splurge – these may be the winner! Just remember they run small – size up.
Lastly, when wanting to look put together without trying too hard – don’t even bother putting on make up. I mean what else are sunglasses for? Obviously not to block the sun – duh! Why waste time applying mascara when you can throw on a huge pair of shades, especially when it completes your outfit? I mean if you happen to catch me on the street wearing sunglasses on a rainy day – it’s certainly not because I forgot to check the weather.
